Ruutu Vase
by IITTALA
Details

Ruutu (‘diamond’ in Finnish) from French design duo Ronan and Erwan Boroullec is a true masterpiece. The delicately simple mouthblown glass vase belies an elaborate process that requires seven of the best craftsmen at the Iittala Glass Factory a total of 24 hours to produce. The result is a perfectly symmetrical form that expresses the purity of the mouthblown glass. Likewise, the pure, even toned beauty of Ruutu’s vivid palette of watercolour hues best highlights Iittala’s coloured glass expertise. Winner of the iF and Red Dot design awards. The moss green Ruutu vase looks stunning alone or grouped in a collection. A striking glass art object for any interior. Each Ruutu vase has the designers’ name engraved on the base.
